Afternoon Delight
8"x8" oil on panel $400This is one of two pieces that were painted for an upcoming show called "Small Treasures at the Little Gallery" with the "Little Gallery" in Bellingham, Washington. I've only painted on panel just a couple of times, and even at this small size, (8"x8"), it is bigger than any other panel I've previously painted. It's a very different experience than working with canvas and I found myself completely absorbed in my work. I thoroughly enjoyed it! I am able to get detail and fine lines that I found elusive with a textured canvas. This may revolutionize the way I paint in the future.
