No doubt you can tell I'm inspired by the dramatic Pacific Northwest skies. I am frequently asked if I am a "Plein Air" painter and though on occasion I have painted outside on site, my usual procedure is to take a lot of photographs and go back to the creature comforts of the studio to work out my composition.
